1 John 4:7-11 – “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love

Exodus 3:1-4 – As Moses is tending the flock of his father-in-law Jethro close to Mount Horeb (God’s mountain), “the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush,” which was burning with fire, yet not consumed. Then “God called to him from the midst of the bush, ‘Moses! Moses!’ And he said, ‘Here I am.’”

Acts 21:10-11 – As we stayed many days [with Philip the evangelist in Caesarea], a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. When he had come to us, he took Paul’s belt, bound his own hands and feet, and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’” * And so it happened.

God is a God of Love, so there are three sins He hates: 1) Idolatry breaks the bond of love between God & Humankind 2) Adultery breaks the bond of love between Husband & Wife 3) Child Sacrifice breaks the bond of love between Parent & Child

Easter changes everything! Two miracles: Christmas & Easter. Incarnation & Resurrection. 1 John 4:16 – “God is Love! He who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. * “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” (John 15:13)

Making money is a skill. Keeping money is a discipline. Growing money is wisdom.

Daniel 4:17 & 32 – “The Most High rules in the kingdom of men, gives it to whomever He chooses, and sets over it the lowest of men.” [JHK Note: This is the great lesson of the Book of Daniel. Three very different kings with very different hearts test Daniel and his friends.]

Jesus was asked by a religious leader who was an expert in the law “What is the greatest commandment?” We believe his answer is foundational to who we are and paramount to understanding what it means to “live relationally” within the Kingdom of God.
