ALPHA AND OMEGA

                      ALPHA = FIRST    

Genesis 1 & 2 = Creation * God’s OPOC = Original Purpose of Creation is the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth beginning with one man & one woman and their progeny forever. The man & the woman are naked and not ashamed: there is no fear, no guilt, no shame in God’s Original Creation.                           

Genesis 3 = Sin enters & Consequences  * Eve sins twice, first with Lucifer (the fallen Archangel) and then with Adam, who has only sinned once. As Adam was the last to sin, he will be the first to be restored through Jesus, the “Second Adam.”

Genesis 4:1-2 = 1st Couple Multiplies Sin * This first “marriage,” this first coupling is without God’s Blessing. Both Eve & Adam have sinned through disobedience to the Word & Will & Commands of God. Sin is a spiritual birth defect of the soul. Sinful parents give birth to sinful children, Cain & Abel.

Genesis 4:3-15 = Murder & Consequences * Despite God’s clear, detailed, and specific warning, Cain does not “listen” to or heed the Word of God, but kills Abel in the very next verse.  Sexual sins and violence have plagued humanity ever since.

Genesis 4:16-24 = Family of Cain * All of Cain’s sinful descendants are eventually drowned in the Flood Judgment.

Genesis 4:25-26 = New Hope with Seth * Noah, Abraham, David, Jesus, and the Lord of the Second Advent will be born from the lineage of Seth.

                  OMEGA = LAST

Revelation 21 & 22 = New Creation  * Biblical symmetry is profound! The Bible ends as it begins. There is no sin or evil in the Original Creation, and there is no sin or evil in the New Creation. Likewise, there is no fear, no guilt, no shame: “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Revelation 20 = Sin & Evil Destroyed  * Furthermore, just as sin entered the world in Genesis 3, all sin and evil -- all fear, all guilt, and all shame -- are destroyed in the 3^rd to last chapter of the Bible in the White Throne Judgment.

Revelation 19:6-8 = Lamb & Bride * The Lamb is one man and his wife is one woman, both without sin. Sinless parents give birth to sinless children. God is holy and wants us, His children to be holy.  So marriage is God’s Holy Institution (Malachi 2:11) and sex is sacred, because we share God’s divine creativity in having children.

Revelation 19:9 = Wedding Celebration * Blessed are those hundreds of thousands who are called to attend the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, for they procreate countless generations of sinless people. Knowing the consequences of sin, humans “just say NO” to the deceptions of Satan.

Rev 19:11-16 = Rider on White Horse * This is the Lord of the Second Advent, Christ to come, the Word in Flesh.

Rev 19:17-21 = Beast & Evil Defeated * The Beast & the False Prophet (even Death & Hades) are cast into the Lake of Fire, which is the Second Death.
